Today I rescued Bert from the river.

I hardly had time to wake up this morning before I had to jump into the nearest bush and put on my Supersheep costume. None of the other sheep know that I am Supersheep, the only creature at the farm who knows my true identity is Tilly the duck. Anyway, I awoke this morning to a terrible noise, I knew that one of my friends was in need of Supersheep the only quacking sheep in the world.

The noise came from down beside the river, my friend Bert had fallen in and was being swept down stream, I knew I had to be quick because Bert can not swim and there was a boat coming along the river. The people on the boat had not seen Bert they were too busy admiring the beautiful surroundings, had they not been playing music so loudly they might of heard him. I quacked 3 times 'Quack, Quack, Quack' I froze time just as the boat was about to hit Bert. I flew down to the river and tried to pull Bert up in the air, out the water but he is a big sheep and his fleece was so wet it had become heavy and I could not lift him. I tried again, and pulled him with all the strength I had in me, but it was no good I could not get him out of the river. Then I realised that Bert was floating on the water, so I dragged him along the river to a part where the bank would be low enough for Bert to climb up on. I quacked 4 times 'Quack, Quack, Quack, Quack' time was unfrozen. Bert climbed onto the bank and was saved, the boat with the people on carried on chugging along the river unaware of what they had happened. Bert was a little confused as to how he got to the edge of the bank but was so glad to be out the water he did not waste too much time thinking about it, he just went and lay in the sun to dry off.

Thank goodness I heard Bert call for help.
